Sales Manager – Maharashtra, Goa

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Propel revenue growth and broaden market presence for the entire Leica Biosystems portfolio within the Clinical Diagnostics and Life Sciences sectors.

• Create and oversee a strong sales pipeline, ensuring visibility and high conversion rates.

• Formulate and implement strategies for territories and key accounts that align with business goals.

• Lead significant customer interactions, including contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and partnerships across multiple sites.

• Drive competitive conversions and enhance portfolio utilization within the existing customer base.

• Promote upselling and cross-selling initiatives across Histology, Advanced Staining, and Digital Pathology offerings.

• Establish and nurture robust relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and institutional stakeholders.

• Collaborate across various functions, including Marketing, Service, Applications, Finance, and Supply Chain teams, to provide value to customers.

• Manage and cultivate channel partners and distributors to optimize regional coverage and performance.

• Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive activities to enhance go-to-market strategies.

• Ensure precise forecasting and maintain CRM integrity (SFDC), including win/loss analysis and opportunity tracking.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences or Healthcare with at least 8 years of commercial experience in Medical Devices, Diagnostics, Healthcare, or Life Sciences.

• Experience in both IVD instrumentation and consumables business.

• Familiarity with the government tendering process is a plus.

• Proficient in using CRMs like SFDC.

• A strong team player with outstanding communication and negotiation skills, adopting a scientific approach to customer engagement.

• A commercially oriented professional with a proven track record of success in the IVD/medical device/life sciences/diagnostic sector.

• Willingness to travel – up to 75% within the territory or designated locations.
