This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Accountable for the creation and implementation of customer strategies.
• Identifies, nurtures, and documents strategies that enhance alignment between customer requirements and essential internal business needs for both new and existing clients.
• Develops and sustains strategic relationships within and outside the account, achieving price, margin, and growth objectives with assigned accounts.
• Responsible for projecting revenue for profit plans, long-range planning (LRP), and quarterly forecasting freezes.
• Collects, conveys, and formulates strategies to act upon market intelligence.
• Crafts the negotiation strategy for initial and renewal/extension contracts, agreements, terms, and conditions in close partnership with Contract Operations Managers.
• Evaluates sales performance metrics to pinpoint areas for enhancement and executes strategies to boost sales effectiveness.
• Leads account reviews focused on customer relationships, SQRDC scorecards, forecasts, margin maintenance, and identification of business risks.
• Academic degree in business or technical fields.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in a commercial role within the energy, Oil & Gas, or industrial sectors.
• Established network with key end-users in the territory.
• Strong technical comprehension of large industrial engines, turbines, and power applications.
• Robust understanding of commercial principles (cost, pricing, volume discounts, payment) coupled with proven negotiation skills.
• Exceptional independent judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient communication skills in both English and German.
• Willingness to travel extensively (70%).
