
Sales Manager, Desalination – Southeast Asia

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malaysia.
• Drive sales within the Desalination market in the Western region of North America.
• Oversee all facets of customer accounts from a sales viewpoint.
• Cultivate and enhance relationships with designated customers and distribution networks.
• Support the Sales Manager and Applications Development in grasping the total addressable market and its dynamics.
• Establish connections with end-users, consultants, OEMs, EPCs, and other pertinent stakeholders.
• Prepare proposals, presentations, set revenue goals, and conduct sales training.
• Track market conditions, trends, and competitive benchmarks.
• Conduct market research to identify PAM, TAM, SAM, SOM, and new opportunities.
• Formulate business plans, sales processes, and strategies for assigned markets to ensure the achievement of company sales targets and profitability.
• Collect customer feedback and provide reports.
• Ensure that accurate and comprehensive information is recorded in the Customer Relationship Management system (CRM).
• A Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering is mandatory, along with a solid technical foundation.
• Preferred 5-10 years of experience in sales and business development within target markets.
• Experience in the Water Treatment Market is essential.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English is required.
• Willingness to travel 30-50% of the time.
• Capability to develop business plans and other commercial documents.
• Proficient in effectively using resources to address issues and devise solutions for customer and partner needs.
• Ability to project a strong leadership presence and promote collaborative working relationships with other departments and colleagues.
• Expertise in customer relationship management, business planning, teamwork, and execution. Exceptional oral and written communication as well as interpersonal skills.
• Competence in conducting well-structured training sessions and clearly conveying technical information across all levels.
