This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Leadership and Development of the Team
• Recruitment & Training: Identify and recruit outstanding talent for the Sales team.
• Implement comprehensive training programs to provide team members with essential product knowledge, sales techniques, and industry insights.
• Performance Management: Track performance metrics and conduct regular reviews to deliver constructive feedback and recognition.
• Coaching & Mentorship: Cultivate a culture of continuous learning through individual coaching sessions, team workshops, field ride-alongs, and role-playing exercises to enhance sales skills.
• Sales Strategy and Execution
• Sales Planning: Formulate and implement strategic sales plans to stimulate new business growth.
• Customize strategies based on specific agency models, opportunities, and desired outcomes.
• Pipeline Management: Manage the sales pipeline, ensuring effective engagement activities, platform channels, and conversion processes.
• Target Achievement: Evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) and sales metrics to gauge team performance, adapt strategies as needed, and ensure targets and goals are met.
• Market Analysis and Strategy Development
• Industry Research: Remain informed about market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory shifts affecting the P&C insurance sector.
• Utilize insights to guide strategic decision-making.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Collaboration with Departments: Partner closely with Product, Underwriting, and Customer Service teams to synchronize sales initiatives with targeted segments, product offerings, and service delivery.
• Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Insurance, Risk Management, or a related field.
• Preferred: MBA or relevant certifications (e.g., CPCU, CIC) are preferred.
• Minimum: At least 6 years of sales experience in the Property & Casualty insurance industry.
• Preferred: Experience in a managerial or leadership position overseeing an insurance sales team is preferred.
