This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Actively seek out, prospect, and cultivate new strategic accounts within the designated territory through both inbound and outbound sales efforts.
• Perform customer discovery to gain insights into business goals, technical needs, operational obstacles, and decision-making frameworks.
• Manage the complete sales cycle, which includes prospecting, qualifying leads, presenting solutions, conducting demonstrations, overcoming objections, negotiating, and closing deals.
• Establish and nurture robust relationships with technical influencers, procurement heads, quality experts, and executive decision-makers.
• Facilitate customer presentations and technical solution discussions in collaboration with sales engineers, product specialists, and service teams.
• Work together with marketing, product management, customer success, and service teams to foster account growth, enhance customer retention, and create upsell opportunities.
• Keep precise CRM records, oversee pipeline activities, and provide consistent revenue forecasts.
• Share pertinent market trends, competitive actions, and regulatory considerations, including GxP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, and relevant ISO standards.
• Serve as the customer's voice internally by conveying market insights, product requirements, and areas for improvement.
• A Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, life sciences, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 5 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in life sciences, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, industrial technology, or other regulated sectors.
• Proven track record of meeting or surpassing sales targets through complex, full-cycle sales processes.
• Strong business development capabilities, including the ability to acquire new accounts and forge relationships within multifaceted customer organizations.
• Experience in discussing technical solutions with stakeholders in engineering, IT, operations, quality, and procurement.
• Familiarity with regulated environments and corresponding compliance requirements is preferred.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and objection-handling abilities.
• Competence with CRM systems, such as Salesforce, and sales engagement tools.
