This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in global railway markets to meet sales objectives for HaslerRail RailData products.
• Assist Sales Managers in the active promotion of RailData products.
• Motivate HaslerRail Agents to actively advocate for RailData products and their functionalities.
• Showcase and explain RailData solutions to potential clients, addressing their use cases and challenges.
• Promote product improvements and upsell additional offerings to selected customer accounts.
• Ensure satisfaction among selected customer accounts.
• Collect customer feedback from the perspective of train operators.
• Provide market insights and suggestions for potential product enhancements to the RailData software team.
• Keep the HaslerRail CRM updated as the primary source of truth for RailData opportunities to aid in reporting and forecasting.
• Adhere to standard procedures for Bid Reviews.
• Prepare and present proposals to potential customers showcasing railway solutions and services.
• Participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
• Assist the Sales Team Leader and Director of Sales & Marketing with budget and strategy as required.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering and/or Data Science; degrees in Computer Science or Business Information Systems are also valued.
• Demonstrated experience in sales and business development within the railway industry or related fields.
• Proven track record in sales and business development of cloud-based software solutions.
• Strong knowledge of cloud-based software solutions.
• Comprehensive understanding of global railway markets, technologies, and regulatory frameworks is an advantage.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
• Capability to build relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
• Proficient in CRM software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to travel internationally as needed, with an expected average of 30% travel.
• Native English speaker or English proficiency at least at C1 level.
• Proficiency in Italian, Spanish, or additional languages is advantageous.
