This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +3 more states.
• Oversee and promote profitable business expansion within the sales region.
• Create regional business strategies that align with the goals of the Reagents team in the Life Sciences sector.
• Formulate market strategies that encompass multi-channel approaches and key accounts.
• Conduct regular reviews of business performance and territory with team members.
• Assist team initiatives to enhance customer awareness of product offerings.
• Engage in tradeshows, exhibitions, and conferences.
• Develop long-term strategic plans for Discovery Reagents product lines.
• Collaborate with Product Management on product improvements.
• Partner with sales teams and business units to advocate for Revvity solutions.
• Create business plans and execution strategies for digital platforms to accelerate growth.
• Set direction, allocate tasks, and assess team performance.
• Exemplify, convey, and mentor others on Revvity's values and practices.
• Identify, recruit, and nurture sales talent.
• Drive innovative planning and implementation while ensuring accountability.
• Promote cross-selling and effective communication throughout the commercial team.
• Expand business and meet team sales objectives within the designated territory.
• Align customer requirements with the appropriate Revvity product offerings.
• Maintain precise forecasts for the territory.
• Meet or surpass annual sales goals.
• A Bachelor's degree in a scientific field or equivalent experience, along with five years in field sales.
• 2-5 years of prior sales experience or comparable experience in Field Applications, Project/Product management, Marketing, or related roles in the Life Science Market.
• A minimum of 3 years in a laboratory environment, engaging in basic science, drug discovery research, HTS, immunoassays, assay development, with a focus on microplate-based applications is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, including proficient email writing and effective in-person and phone interactions.
• Ability to provide effective consultations.
• Competence in collaborating across various business functions.
• Enthusiasm for keeping abreast of new technologies and applications within the life science sector.
• Willingness to travel overnight up to 30% of the time.
• Overnight travel for conferences, mandatory training, and sales meetings (approximately 5% travel).
