šŸ“‹ Description

• Territory: Germany, South West: Baden-Württemberg/Saarland/Rheinland-Pfalz/Hessen (remote).

• Achieve and surpass the financial and activity targets established by MillerKnoll.

• Focused on dealer engagement and project-driven activities, including lead generation, challenger selling, and regular visits to dealers to cultivate interest and create purchasing potential for MillerKnoll products.

• Collaborate and coordinate MillerKnoll and dealer resources to leverage sales opportunities.

• Take ownership and accountability for the opportunity until the order is placed.

• Provide timely and accurate forecasting information along with other pertinent market insights.

• Attain financial sales objectives by fostering strong, mutually beneficial relationships with designated Dealers through effective problem-solving and opportunity provision.

• Manage larger projects through effective project management techniques.

• Maintain ongoing daily relationships as the primary commercial contact with designated dealers at all levels.

• Identify and create sales opportunities for MillerKnoll and dealers within the territory, overseeing processes for Product Application / Specials / Mock Ups / SPAFS on projects.

• Collaborate with MillerKnoll's business development efforts by identifying new opportunities for National Account Managers, Global Account Managers, Major Project Groups, A&D, and Channel Development, and work with them as needed on projects.

• Provide technical and specification support to dealers in conjunction with Portfolio leads when necessary.

• Constantly promote MillerKnoll products and services while acting in the best interests of the company to meet and exceed individual volume targets.

• Meet key activity goals, particularly in terms of monthly dealer and client meetings.

• Ensure top-quality presentations, whether verbal or written (RFI / RFP / Tender) – representing either MillerKnoll or the dealer – to achieve best-in-class standards.

• Acquire comprehensive product and program knowledge to effectively articulate MillerKnoll’s unique advantages and the differentiators of our products/programs compared to competitors.

• Understand the furniture market and relevant activities to build relationships with key influencers in the territory.

• Provide accurate and timely reports to the Regional Manager, ensuring that Salesforce is up-to-date and fully utilized for all opportunities.

• Responsible for Forecast via SFDC.

• Established network within the Southern German contract, architecture, and dealer landscape, ideally with strong connections in the specified area.

• Highly relationship-oriented, capable of acting as a trusted, long-term partner to dealers, specifiers, and end-customers.

• Strong service and solution mindset, able to support partners and add value throughout the entire project lifecycle.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels.

• Highly structured and organized, capable of managing multiple projects, partners, and priorities simultaneously.

• Proactive, commercially driven, and collaborative, with a hands-on approach to developing the Southern German region alongside internal colleagues and external partners.

• Strong interpersonal skills and adept at relationship building.

• Must exhibit knowledge and understanding of selling skills.

• Must communicate succinctly, fluently, and compellingly in both verbal and written forms.

• Must demonstrate high levels of drive and energy, working autonomously.

• Must thrive in a team environment when necessary.

• Must be flexible to work long hours as required and prepared for regular early starts, with the expectation of traveling up to 50% of the time.

• Must possess numeracy skills for preparing quotations and forecasting information.

• ā€œKaufmƤnnische Ausbildungā€/Degree in Business Administration/Engineering with several years of experience or a higher educational qualification preferred.

• Proven track record in generating new business for a minimum of 5 years (or in a related field).

• Valid driving license (6 points maximum); German driving license (ā€œFührerschein Klasse Bā€).

• Proven track record in B2B sales within contract furniture, interiors, hospitality, or other design-led industries, ideally with experience in dealer and specification-driven sales models.

• Solid understanding of project sales processes, from early concept and specification through to execution.

• Fluency in both German and English, in written and spoken forms.
