This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Proactively acquire new customers in grocery retail, LEH, and SMEs through systematic, repeatable, and data-driven methods.
• Plan and execute on-site appointments to identify opportunities and successfully close deals.
• Prepare proposals, negotiate terms, and finalize agreements (leasing/subscription) to ensure a smooth transition and onboarding process.
• Build and sustain a sales pipeline, while forecasting and planning for deal closures.
• Manage performance through clear activity and outcome KPIs (for example, on-site visits per week and conversion rates).
• Maintain daily updates in the CRM, including visit reports and documentation to ensure transparency and reporting.
• Work closely with Marketing, Inside Sales, and Operations to manage lead flow, execute campaigns, and ensure effective execution.
• Gather market feedback such as use cases, objections, and competitive insights to enhance sales materials and presentation techniques.
• Several years of experience in B2B sales, particularly in field sales, with a preference for backgrounds in software, SaaS, or digital services.
• Demonstrated success in acquiring new customers and managing end-to-end deal ownership.
• Confident in conducting on-site meetings, performing needs assessments, storytelling the value proposition, handling objections, and closing sales.
• Familiarity with grocery and retail sectors, including store networks and regional decision-makers, as well as SME sales experience.
• Knowledgeable in leasing and subscription models, with experience in pricing and contract negotiations.
• Comfortable working within KPI-driven sales frameworks that focus on activity logic, conversion, and revenue (e.g., success rate calculated as orders divided by on-site visits).
• Possess a hunter mentality combined with a structured working style, including route planning, pacing, and disciplined follow-up.
• Exhibit clear communication skills, strong reliability, and a proactive "get things done" attitude.
