This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Oversee the internal sales team consisting of 3 members and 3 External Account Managers located in Bristol and Swansea.
• Ensure that monthly and annual sales goals are met, currently set at £5m per annum in gross profit.
• Provide daily reports to the Regional Service and Sales Manager.
• Promote and expand key products within designated markets and business sectors.
• Coach, inspire, and manage the performance of the sales team.
• Supervise staff time management practices and establish weekly targets.
• Review results in one-on-one meetings and create Personal Performance Management plans.
• Develop business growth strategies that align with product strengths and targeted industries.
• Formulate individual customer development plans for high-priority clients.
• Conduct joint customer visits alongside Account Managers for support and coaching.
• Analyze CRM, CGE, Pivot, account, and managed-product reports to enhance profitability.
• Evaluate and distribute incoming sales leads for same-day follow-up.
• Manage contracts and call-offs with precise and accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with the Product Management team in Leeds to coordinate managed product campaigns.
• Execute adjustments to product pricing, whether through PAN/PPG or manually.
• Conduct weekly and monthly one-on-ones that focus on targets and action plans.
• Ensure the effective and accurate utilization of Brenntag’s CRM system.
• Work with other departments to drive sales growth effectively.
• Cultivate customer relationships and build professional connections.
• Provide the Regional Sales Manager with comprehensive monthly activity and performance reports.
• Record customer complaints in the Quality System and escalate them to the Quality & CX Manager.
• Attend to other reasonable management requests on an ad-hoc basis.
• A degree or equivalent educational background.
• Prior experience in a commercial setting is mandatory.
• Strong analytical and sales capabilities.
• Proficient knowledge of modern ERP and CRM systems.
• Competence in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
