This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.
• Formulate and implement commercial strategies in Italy, Malta, and North Africa, aligned with the company's objectives and long-term strategic vision.
• Meet budget and targets for volume, revenue, and margins in Italy, in accordance with annual financial plans and the five-year strategic roadmap.
• Enhance distribution channels in Italy for optimal efficiency and increased market penetration.
• Spearhead the execution of the specialized sales strategy in Italy, driving growth in high-value product sales.
• Cultivate a robust sales culture and develop a skilled, motivated sales team.
• Build and sustain strong relationships with customers and business partners in Italy.
• Evaluate Italian market data to uncover opportunities for growth and expansion.
• Lead and inspire a high-performing sales team, offering effective guidance and continuous support.
• Ensure seamless communication with other departments, especially the commercial and marketing teams.
• Represent Scott Bader in a professional and positive manner at events and meetings with clients and partners.
• Extensive experience in sales management, ideally within the chemical industry or a related field.
• Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities, with a proven ability to motivate and guide teams toward achieving excellence.
• Demonstrated success in developing and executing effective commercial strategies.
• Strong understanding of the Italian market, including its trends and specific characteristics, along with insight into local customer needs.
• Advanced proficiency in data analysis and strategic decision-making, with the capability to interpret data and convert it into actionable plans.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and persuasively to customers and partners.
• Capacity to work independently, manage multiple projects at once, and adapt to changing market conditions.
• Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software and sales management tools.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline, preferably in management, marketing, or sales.
• Full professional proficiency in both Italian and English, with strong written and spoken communication skills in both languages.
