This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Actively seek out, engage, and secure new customer accounts across Germany in the seafood, meat, and broader food packaging sectors.
• Implement systematic prospecting initiatives (cold outreach, warm leads, events, trade exhibitions) throughout a vast and underdeveloped territory.
• Develop a strong pipeline of qualified prospects and transform pilot projects into framework agreements and long-term partnerships.
• Facilitate commercial negotiations including pricing, volumes, and contractual conditions for new business opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with the Germany Sales Director based in Hamburg to ensure clear delineation of territory and account responsibilities.
• Work in conjunction with internal departments (R&D, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance) to provide competitive, customer-focused solutions.
• Keep precise CRM records, provide weekly updates on the pipeline, and deliver monthly forecasts to the Germany leadership and Norway headquarters.
• Represent FBS/Amcor at significant industry events, such as fish international and other relevant food industry forums.
• At least 2 years of B2B field sales experience, preferably in food packaging, industrial packaging, seafood, meat, or cold-chain sectors.
• Proven hunter mentality: clear track record of acquiring new clients in a competitive B2B environment.
• Comfortable dedicating the majority of time to fieldwork (3–4 days per week with clients).
• Strong negotiation capabilities and a commercial outlook.
• Native or C2-level proficiency in German; working English is necessary for group reporting.
