This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Accountable for the sales of onshore wind turbines in Poland, the Baltics, and the Eastern Europe region.
• Establish strong collaborative relationships with all key stakeholders at assigned accounts throughout the region and gain a comprehensive understanding of their project strategies and requirements.
• Offer both commercial and technical assistance to assigned accounts regarding their project strategies.
• Ensure that GE Vernova’s Onshore Wind products and services receive favorable consideration in all wind projects related to assigned or newly established accounts.
• Identify, cultivate, and close sales opportunities within the designated accounts.
• Recognize, comprehend, and communicate customer requirements to Onshore Wind management, focusing on both project specifics and overall business needs.
• Collaborate effectively within a team environment alongside Commercial Operations, Technical Operations, Engineering, Finance, and Project Management to optimize resource utilization.
• Exercise judgment to make decisions or resolve complex tasks or issues related to projects, product lines, markets, and sales processes.
• Utilize various internal and external resources beyond one’s own function to make informed decisions.
• Apply technical knowledge and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations.
• Take responsibility for orders, pricing/profitability, risk assessment, terms & conditions, and customer satisfaction.
• Oversee the Inquiry to Order ("ITO") process for assigned accounts.
• Ensure data quality and accuracy for current projects, opportunities, and customer information within the sales database system.
• Engage in and support trade shows, conferences, and other relevant business events.
• Key performance indicators will include accountability for the business operation plan concerning assigned markets: Region Orders, Margins, and Cash Operating Plan, as well as creating and maintaining a sales pipeline. Performance against Goals & Objectives (developed in partnership with the Region Sales Leader) and accuracy in the Sales Database and Data Quality.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering related to energy projects, Finance, or an advanced business degree with relevant experience in the Renewable industry.
• Significant experience and a proven record of success in sales and business development within the wind power sector.
• Practical knowledge of the current and emerging requirements of power generation markets, along with an understanding of customer financial motivations and needs.
• Excellent communication skills with confidence in delivering presentations to executive-level audiences.
• Strong interpersonal, team-building, and negotiation skills; capable of engaging with colleagues and customers at all levels of the organization.
• Willingness to travel frequently throughout the country and region (30+).
• Consistent history of achieving performance objectives.
• Self-motivated individual with high energy, capable of inspiring others, driving change, and working independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
• Proficiency in both Polish and English.
