This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Oversee sales of onshore wind turbines in Poland, the Baltics, and the Eastern Europe region.
• Establish strong working relationships with key stakeholders at designated accounts across the region and gain a comprehensive understanding of their project strategies and requirements.
• Offer commercial and technical assistance to assigned accounts concerning their project strategies.
• Ensure that GE Vernova’s Onshore Wind products and services are favorably positioned in all assigned or newly established account wind projects.
• Identify, nurture, and finalize sales opportunities within designated accounts.
• Recognize, comprehend, and relay customer requirements to the Onshore Wind management, pertaining to both specific projects and their overall business needs.
• Collaborate effectively in a team setting with Commercial Operations, Technical Operations, Engineering, Finance, and Project Management to optimize resource utilization.
• Utilize sound judgment to make decisions or resolve complex issues related to projects, product lines, markets, and sales processes.
• Draw upon various internal and external resources beyond one's own function to make informed decisions.
• Apply technical knowledge and expertise for data analysis to bolster recommendations.
• Take responsibility for orders, pricing/profitability, risk management, terms & conditions, and customer satisfaction.
• Manage the Inquiry to Order ("ITO") process for assigned accounts.
• Ensure the quality and accuracy of data related to current projects, opportunities, and customer information within the sales database system.
• Engage in and assist with trade shows, conferences, and other pertinent business events.
• Key performance indicators will include accountability for the business operation plan in relation to assigned markets: Region Orders, Margins, and Cash Operating Plan, along with maintaining a sales pipeline and achieving Goals & Objectives in collaboration with the Region Sales Leader. Sales Database accuracy and Data Quality are also essential.
• A Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline related to energy projects, Finance, or an advanced business degree paired with relevant experience in the Renewable industry.
• Significant experience and a demonstrated history of successful sales and business development in the wind power sector.
• Practical knowledge of current and emerging requirements in the power generation markets, as well as customer financial drivers and needs.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to deliver confident presentations to executives.
• Strong interpersonal, team-building, and negotiation abilities; capable of collaborating effectively with colleagues and clients at all organizational levels.
• Willingness to travel frequently throughout the country and region (30+ trips).
• Proven track record of achieving performance targets.
• Self-motivated individual with high energy, capable of inspiring others, driving change, and working independently as well as in a team.
• Proficiency in both Polish and English.
