This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Build and lead a team of Regional Account Managers focused on Hepatology across significant regions in Germany.
• Develop and implement commercial strategies for existing hepatology priorities while aiding market growth for future rare liver disease prospects.
• Identify and prioritize specialist networks, regional opportunities, and key accounts for effective field execution.
• Transform market and field insights into readiness for launch, post-launch activities, and commercial priorities.
• Establish structure and adjust strategy in a developing market context.
• Support initiatives for disease awareness, patient identification, diagnosis, referral, and treatment pathways.
• Collaborate with specialist centers, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and institutions.
• Ensure strategic engagement with expert centers, stakeholders, and regional health system networks.
• Mentor RAMs on account strategies and local execution priorities.
• Represent field insights in cross-functional planning with Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Marketing teams.
• Recruit, develop, and mentor RAMs through field coaching, constructive feedback, workshops, and sharing best practices.
• Align expectations with approved commercial and medical objectives.
• Promote accountability, agility, shared ownership, and mission-driven execution.
• Lead through direct management and influence over RAMs, cross-functional collaborators, and commercial leadership.
• Create consistent field execution standards while fostering local ownership.
• Act as the field leadership voice in commercial planning and compliant execution.
• Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Marketing, and Commercial leadership on scientific exchange, brand strategy, business planning, and implementation.
• Master’s degree in a scientific discipline is required.
• Over 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, with at least 5 years spent in field roles.
• Demonstrated experience in rare diseases and/or specialty care, preferably with a focus on hepatology or highly specialized care settings.
• Proven ability to shape strategies for product launches, growth, or market development in complex healthcare environments.
• In-depth understanding of the German healthcare system, academic institutions, specialist networks, and regional access dynamics.
• Strong engagement with KOLs and scientific fluency in complex, science-focused specialty markets.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative setting.
• Willingness to travel frequently, including up to 70% overnight travel.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Strategic mindset combined with hands-on field execution, clear prioritization, and disciplined follow-through.
• High emotional intelligence, facilitation skills, and the ability to influence stakeholders effectively.
