This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Report directly to the Sales Team Lead.
• Achieve or surpass sales targets by building a client base and nurturing potential customer relationships.
• Evaluate client requirements, craft proposals, deliver compelling presentations, promote the company's offerings, and finalize contracts with prospective clients in the Workers Compensation and Managed Care sectors.
• Create and implement a personal sales strategy with clear goals for prospecting, new client acquisition, pipeline development, and revenue generation.
• Identify, cultivate, and build relationships with employers, self-insured entities, insurance providers, third-party administrators, public organizations, brokers, and other key decision-makers in workers’ compensation.
• Seek and pursue new business opportunities through direct outreach, cold calling, referrals, networking, industry ties, and targeted business development efforts.
• Build and maintain a qualified sales pipeline, recognize decision-makers, grasp purchasing processes, and advance prospects through the sales cycle.
• Oversee the complete sales process from initial prospecting and relationship building to presentations, proposal development, contract negotiations, and closing new deals.
• Conduct sales activities within the allocated sales budget.
• Work in conjunction with marketing, account management, implementation, and operations teams to enhance business development and ensure smooth client onboarding.
• Meet or exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) including qualified leads, prospect meetings, pipeline expansion, proposals, new clients, conversion rates, and revenue growth.
• Articulate EK Health's managed care services in workers’ compensation, emphasizing value propositions, differentiators, cost-saving capabilities, and improvements in claims outcomes.
• Provide leadership with industry insights, competitive intelligence, market trends, client feedback, and emerging opportunities.
• Record sales activities, prospect interactions, opportunities, anticipated revenues, next steps, and closing dates in the CRM; confirm prospect assignments before outreach.
• Participate in workers’ compensation conferences, networking events, and industry gatherings, contingent on budget approval.
• Frequent travel within the USA is required.
• A bachelor's degree in a business-related discipline is essential.
• At least 4 years of experience in a sales role within the managed care and/or workers compensation industry.
• Comprehensive understanding of sales strategies and techniques, alongside sales psychology and purchasing behaviors.
• Strong familiarity with the company's products, competitive offerings, and the overall market landscape.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, TEAMS) and CRM software.
• Knowledge of Zoho is advantageous.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, interpersonal, and customer service abilities.
• Candidates should be capable of sitting for most of the day.
• Candidates must be able to use a keyboard for extended periods.
• Manual dexterity is required.
• Candidates should be able to speak on the phone intermittently throughout the day.
• Candidates must be fluent in reading and writing English.
• Candidates must ensure a safe home office environment.
• The home office must comply with HIPAA regulations.
• A DSL, fiber, or cable internet connection from home is required; 100 mbps or higher is preferred.
