This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nebraska.
• Report to the Sales Team Lead.
• Achieve or surpass sales targets by cultivating a client base and nurturing potential customer relationships through sales calls, prospecting, networking, and referrals.
• Evaluate client needs using a consultative selling approach.
• Create proposals and deliver compelling presentations.
• Advocate for the company's services and secure contracts with prospective clients in the Workers Compensation and Managed Care sectors.
• Formulate and implement a personalized sales strategy with clear objectives for prospecting, acquiring new clients, pipeline development, and revenue generation.
• Identify, cultivate, and build relationships with employers, self-insured entities, insurance providers, third-party administrators, public organizations, brokers, and other workers’ compensation decision-makers.
• Seek and pursue new business opportunities through direct outreach, cold calling, referrals, networking, industry connections, and targeted business development initiatives.
• Maintain a qualified sales pipeline, recognize decision-makers, comprehend purchasing processes, and progress opportunities through the sales funnel.
• Oversee the complete sales cycle from prospecting and relationship building to presentations, proposal crafting, contract negotiations, and closing new business deals.
• Manage sales activities within the established sales budget.
• Partner with marketing, account management, implementation, and operations teams to facilitate new business development and ensure a smooth client onboarding process.
• Meet or exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) including qualified leads, prospect meetings, pipeline expansion, proposals submitted, new client acquisitions, conversion rates, and new business revenue.
• Communicate EK Health's managed care services for workers’ compensation, encompassing utilization review, medical bill review, nurse case management, and provider networks.
• Articulate the company's value proposition, service differentiators, cost-containment strategies, and capability to enhance claims outcomes to potential clients.
• Provide leadership with insights on industry feedback, competitive intelligence, market trends, client feedback, and emerging opportunities.
• Monitor sales activities, prospect engagements, opportunities, expected revenue, next steps, and closing timelines in the CRM.
• Confirm prospect assignments prior to initiating outreach.
• Attend workers’ compensation conferences, networking events, and industry functions, contingent on budget approval, to cultivate qualified leads and new business opportunities.
• Willingness to travel regularly within the USA.
• A Bachelor's degree in a business-related field is essential.
• A Master's degree in a business-related field is advantageous.
• At least 4 years of experience in a sales role within the managed care and/or workers compensation sector.
• Comprehensive understanding of sales strategies and techniques, as well as sales psychology and purchasing behavior.
• Strong familiarity with the company's offerings, competitive products, and market dynamics.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, TEAMS) and CRM systems.
• Knowledge of Zoho is a plus.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Candidates must be able to sit for extended periods.
• Candidates must be able to use a keyboard for most of the day.
• Manual dexterity is required.
• Candidates must be able to speak on the phone intermittently throughout the day.
• Candidates must be able to read and write English fluently.
• Candidates must ensure a safe home office environment.
• Home office must comply with HIPAA standards.
• A DSL, fiber, or cable internet connection from home is required; 100 mbps or higher is preferred.
