Sales Executive – Quantum Security

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and implement a strategic sales plan aimed at enterprise and commercial organizations focused on security.

• Discover opportunities related to quantum-safe encryption, resilience in cybersecurity, and readiness for post-quantum challenges.

• Establish and nurture strong connections with CIOs, CISOs, IT leaders, and executive decision-makers.

• Oversee the entire sales process: from prospecting and qualification to solution positioning, negotiation, and closing.

• Collaborate with core sales, engineering, and technical teams to customize solutions that meet customer security requirements.

• Inform customers about the effects of quantum computing on cybersecurity and encryption practices.

• Ensure accurate forecasting and manage the sales pipeline effectively using CRM tools.

• Represent IonQ at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of professional experience or an equivalent mix of education and experience.

• At least 5 years of experience in enterprise sales, ideally within the cybersecurity or advanced technology sectors.

• Demonstrated success in surpassing sales quotas in complex, consultative sales settings.

• Strong comprehension of cybersecurity principles (including encryption, threat landscapes, and compliance frameworks).

• Experience in selling to large enterprises or government entities.

• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation capabilities.

• Ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.

• Competence in operating within a matrix environment with various internal and external stakeholders.

• Strategic mindset and focus on solution-oriented selling.

• Skill in translating intricate technical concepts into business value.

• Strong relationship-building abilities and stakeholder management skills.

• A self-motivated individual with a high level of accountability and ownership mentality.
