This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Oversee and expand a well-established portfolio of business aviation clients.
• Discover and cultivate new business prospects in the business aviation sector.
• Enhance customer usage of World Fuel's products, services, technologies, and fuel programs.
• Formulate and implement sales strategies aimed at boosting fuel volume, revenue, and customer loyalty.
• Manage the entire sales process, from prospecting and relationship building to contract finalization and ongoing account development.
• Establish trusted relationships with aircraft operators, flight departments, and aviation professionals.
• Act as a strategic ally to customers by comprehending their operational needs and suggesting effective solutions.
• Interact with key decision-makers, including Directors of Aviation, Chief Pilots, Pilots, Schedulers, Dispatchers, and Flight Operations staff.
• Conduct customer meetings, business reviews, and account planning sessions.
• Provide an outstanding customer experience that fosters long-term loyalty and retention.
• Evaluate customer opportunities, market dynamics, and industry trends to facilitate business expansion.
• Formulate pricing suggestions and negotiate commercial contracts that align with company goals.
• Recognize opportunities to enhance customer value while maximizing account profitability.
• Assist with contract renewals, account retention, and strategic growth initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with Operations, Supply, Logistics, Finance, and Customer Service teams to support customers and ensure smooth execution.
• Keep precise pipeline activity, forecasts, and customer records within CRM systems.
• Travel as necessary to support customers, engage in business development efforts, attend industry events, and participate in team meetings.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, business development, account management, or customer-facing commercial roles.
• Proven track record in developing new business while nurturing and retaining existing customer relationships.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
• Demonstrated success in managing customer accounts and meeting sales targets.
• Capacity to build credibility and trust with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Proficient in CRM platforms and Microsoft Office applications.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Experience in business aviation, aviation fuel, FBO operations, flight operations, aviation services, or a related field (preferred).
• Familiarity with aircraft operations and flight department settings (preferred).
• Knowledge of aviation fuel programs, trip support services, or aviation-related commercial solutions (preferred).
