This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of and cultivate a designated group of around 25–40 key dietary supplement brands and manufacturers.
• Build relationships with essential decision-makers, organize customer visits, and pinpoint product opportunities.
• Showcase the scientific and commercial value of the ingredients to potential clients.
• Manage opportunities from the initial prospecting and qualification stages through to proposals, negotiations, closing, and commercialization.
• Achieve set sales targets and establish a robust, sustainable customer base in the U.S.
• Develop and implement account plans for priority customers.
• Foster relationships within customer organizations, comprehend their product strategies, and uncover further opportunities.
• Coordinate internal resources to support customer projects and progressively expand key accounts.
• Maintain a well-structured pipeline with defined next steps, timelines, and realistic forecasts.
• Utilize agreed-upon CRM and sales management processes to report progress to European leadership.
• Collaborate with scientific, clinical, product development, regulatory, marketing, technical, and supply chain teams to advance projects towards commercialization.
• Partner with marketing on targeted campaigns, trade shows, and account-based initiatives.
• Oversee account coverage with the company’s U.S. distributor and ensure visibility into its broader sales pipeline.
• Participate in select customer meetings where direct company engagement adds value, while remaining accountable for generating and closing opportunities within your own strategic accounts.
• Approximately 4–6 years of B2B or B2B2C sales experience within the U.S. dietary supplement industry.
• Demonstrated success in generating new business, managing opportunities through the sales process, and closing deals.
• Established, credible relationships with U.S. dietary supplement brands and manufacturers, ideally including access to key strategic accounts.
• Experience in developing and expanding strategically significant customer accounts.
• Ingredient sales experience is preferred, particularly with scientifically or technically differentiated ingredients.
• Ability to comprehend clinical evidence and translate technical information into a clear commercial proposition.
• Confidence in engaging with senior decision-makers as well as R&D, product development, marketing, and technical teams.
• Strong skills in pipeline management, forecasting, communication, and organization.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently with substantial autonomy.
• Experience working with a European headquarters and in a scale-up environment is highly desirable.
• U.S. home office work arrangement.
• Regular travel to customers across the country.
• Occasional travel to Europe.
