This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Propel revenue growth within a designated territory by expanding customer relationships and acquiring new business.
• Manage and enhance a portfolio of current clients through cross-selling, upselling, and fostering greater product usage.
• Create and implement territory strategies aimed at high-potential accounts and strategic growth opportunities.
• Establish connections with key decision-makers and influencers in schools, districts, and educational organizations.
• Identify, assess, and cultivate opportunities in prospective, low-spending, and inactive accounts.
• Conduct prospecting activities via phone, email, social selling, events, referrals, and targeted outreach.
• Collaborate with Marketing and SDR teams on leads generated from inbound marketing efforts.
• Build a sales pipeline that meets quarterly and annual booking objectives.
• Oversee opportunities from initial discovery through proposal, negotiation, and closure.
• Utilize the MEDDPICC framework to qualify and progress opportunities effectively.
• Deliver presentations, demonstrations, business cases, and proposals that align with customer goals.
• Provide accurate forecasting and maintain visibility into opportunity development, risks, and potential growth.
• Work alongside Finance, Legal, Product, Customer Success, and Implementation teams to execute deals and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Develop multi-threaded relationships within accounts and act as a trusted advisor.
• Assist in retention efforts in collaboration with Customer Success and Renewal teams.
• Relay customer feedback, market intelligence, and competitive insights internally.
• Meet quarterly and annual targets for revenue, pipeline, and activity.
• Keep Salesforce opportunity, account, and forecasting data accurate.
• Track pipeline health, territory performance, and customer engagement metrics.
• Participate in conferences, customer events, webinars, and networking opportunities.
• 1–3+ years of experience in SaaS, EdTech, business development, account management, or consultative sales.
• Proven track record of generating revenue through customer expansion and new business acquisition.
• Experience managing opportunities through a well-defined sales process from prospecting to closure.
• Exceptional skills in prospecting, relationship-building, discovery, presentation, and negotiation.
• Proficient in using Salesforce or similar CRM systems for pipeline management and forecasting.
• Capability to prioritize across multiple accounts, opportunities, and competing priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with stakeholders at various organizational levels.
• Ability to assess territory performance and leverage data to inform sales strategy and activity planning.
• Willingness to travel within assigned territories as necessary.
• Experience selling SaaS or EdTech solutions to K-12 or Higher Education institutions (preferred).
• Familiarity with MEDDPICC or other structured sales methodologies (preferred).
• Experience managing account growth and acquiring new customers (preferred).
• Experience establishing multi-threaded relationships within educational organizations (preferred).
• Understanding of educational funding cycles, purchasing processes, and decision-making structures in districts (preferred).
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
• Experience utilizing AI tools for research, prospecting, workflow efficiency, and sales productivity (preferred).
