
Sales Engineer – Mechatronic Systems, Automation Technology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Acquisition of new clients and support for existing clients in the Thuringia region
• Offer on-site technical consulting and devise solutions across the complete product range in mechatronic systems, motion and positioning systems, and automation technology
• Independently schedule, coordinate, and execute customer visits in the field
• Approximately 40% regional travel to customers without overnight stays
• Monitor the market and identify sales potential within the designated sales territory
• Collaborate closely with internal sales for proposal preparation and handover
• Engage in trade shows and sales events
• Degree in a technical field, additional training as a technician, or a technical vocational qualification with several years of experience (e.g., mechanical engineering, mechatronics, automation technology, precision engineering, or similar)
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in positions such as technical staff, sales engineer, application engineer, designer, developer, or similar roles for technically complex products, ideally in mechatronic systems and automation technology
• Proficient in German, both written and spoken
• Self-motivated, independent, and results-driven working approach
• Enjoys engaging with people and possesses strong interpersonal skills
• Willingness to travel, adaptability, and a valid driver's license (class B)
• Permanent employment contract
