This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Recruit and manage a high-performing, diverse, and engaged team of 6-8 exceptional account executives to meet quarterly goals.
• Provide both initial onboarding and continuous support to ensure the team’s preparedness, growth, and professional advancement.
• Cultivate strong relationships with Mainline Account Executives and leaders, as well as Specialist Sales Engineers, to enhance team selling strategies and conversion rates.
• Closely monitor the sales pipeline and collaborate with Mainline owners and Account Development Representatives to develop account plans targeting whitespace opportunities.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, and strategy teams to swiftly address challenges and refine go-to-market strategies for your new product.
• Advocate for, exemplify, and integrate Samsara’s cultural principles as we expand Specialist support on a global scale.
• Over 8 years of sales experience, with a proven track record of managing a complex selling process from prospecting to closing.
• More than 3 years of experience in team management.
• Demonstrated history of exceeding targets with experience in coaching teams on outbound sales strategies.
• Familiarity with intricate sales cycles involving multiple decision-makers, various products, and extended timelines.
• Exceptional communication abilities and comfort with public speaking engagements.
