This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +2 more states.
• Propel growth within the Defense Industrial Base by engaging in executive-level planning, strategic account development, and acquiring a thorough understanding of customer missions, directives, and challenges.
• Cultivate trusted-advisor relationships with key stakeholders while aligning the wider Synack field team with client requirements and strategic goals.
• Create and present solutions that address both immediate and long-term testing objectives, utilizing strong business acumen to provide maximum value.
• Assist clients in navigating their contemporary security testing options, encouraging them to move beyond traditional, legacy support frameworks.
• Conduct Executive Business Reviews (EBRs) with customers to accurately project recurring revenue, pinpoint expansion opportunities, and stimulate new business growth.
• Formulate comprehensive account strategies and partner with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution.
• Contribute to and customize marketing materials, pricing approaches, product feature requests, and licensing models specifically tailored for the DIB sector.
• Regularly showcase extensive product knowledge and clearly communicate the distinctive Synack value proposition during customer engagements.
• A BS/BA degree (or equivalent practical experience) combined with over 8 years of experience in enterprise field sales.
• Established and active relationships within the Department of Defense (DoD) or the Defense Industrial Base (DIB).
• Demonstrated experience in selling cybersecurity solutions, SaaS products, and professional services.
• Strong grasp of cybersecurity compliance requirements for large governmental agency environments, software factories, and DevSecOps lifecycles.
• Extensive knowledge of SaaS business models, with a history of driving deals from initial prospecting through to execution using advanced sell-to and sell-through strategies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to articulate complex delivery models and present intricate ideas to executives, stakeholders, and technical product teams.
• High level of proficiency in utilizing web-based collaboration tools to deliver impactful presentations and effectively collaborate with remote, distributed teams.
