This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Take charge of establishing, nurturing, and enhancing Solace's relationship with clients.
• Discover new business opportunities to expand with both new and existing clients, leading the sales process from inception to completion.
• Create and implement territory and account strategies that meet short-term and long-term objectives, including pipeline development, revenue achievement, profit margin growth, client wallet share, and customer satisfaction.
• Be a proactive "hunter" and self-motivated individual capable of working autonomously.
• Exhibit strong teamwork skills — able to collaborate extensively and foster robust relationships with pre-sales engineers and other team members.
• Ultimately responsible for securing new business while building solid client relationships at both operational and executive levels, negotiating intricate deals, and establishing enduring client partnerships.
• Proficiently bilingual in English and German.
• Experience in consultative selling.
• Ability to forge strong executive connections.
• Demonstrated success in closing large, complex deals.
• Proven history in selling middleware products, solutions, and services.
• Exceptional interpersonal abilities with a track record of connecting effectively with clients.
• Competence in assembling a team and leading complex negotiations.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
• Over 5 years of experience in managing client relationships within the Enterprise IT sector.
• Established record of sales success in other IT organizations.
• Familiarity with the MEDIC / MEDDPICC sales methodology.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time (2-3 days a week).
