This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Assist the Canadian Sales team by managing orders, facilitating customer communications, and handling daily sales administrative tasks.
• Develop robust customer relationships while maximizing revenue potential.
• Handle incoming sales inquiries and respond to both internal and external communications.
• Keep customers informed about their order and backorder statuses.
• Dispatch order confirmations and inform clients about stock availability.
• Process orders and oversee backorders for the North American Sales team.
• Verify stock availability and allocations across various warehouses and sources.
• Collaborate with internal teams to guarantee precise and timely shipments that meet customer expectations.
• Coordinate with Credit Control regarding customer payment issues.
• Maintain up-to-date customer information within internal systems.
• Generate credits and proforma invoices and establish new customer accounts.
• Manage returns and work with the warehouse to ensure receipt and system updates.
• Organize collections when necessary.
• Handle sample requests from customers, agents, and Regional Sales Managers.
• Address warehouse inquiries and resolve any arising issues.
• Assist with product launches and disseminate relevant information to retailers.
• Provide training and guidance to new team members as needed.
• Proficiency in both French and English (written and spoken).
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a sales administration or customer support position.
• Residing in Montreal, Quebec, within the designated territory.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong attention to detail, especially when processing orders and coordinating shipments.
• Proficient IT skills, particularly in Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with Power BI and Microsoft Dynamics 365 is advantageous, although training will be provided.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
• Proven experience in building and sustaining strong internal and external relationships.
• Capability to excel in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while managing various priorities.
• Highly organized with a proactive work approach.
