This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Meet and exceed the assigned goals.
• Acts as the primary representative for all designated schools and districts.
• Foster strong relationships with all stakeholders across the accounts.
• Engage with customers to address concerns and identify gaps.
• Establish district connections and nurture relationships at all levels to enhance TCM’s presence, leading to significant growth within assigned accounts.
• Gather account information regarding organizational structure, contacts, buying processes, and identify necessary business activities to secure accounts.
• Maintain consistent communication with the account base and boost revenue through the promotion and demonstration of both new and existing products, preparing suitable RFPs, and closing sales.
• Generate, develop, manage, and communicate expectations within assigned accounts while expanding the scope of influence within each account.
• Assess new opportunities and prospects, evaluate the potential size of opportunities, and articulate closure probabilities.
• Ensure comprehensive and accurate documentation of all activities in the company’s CRM system.
• Keep an extensive knowledge of company products and their features in relation to the strengths and weaknesses of competitor offerings.
• Required travel for in-person customer meetings within the assigned territory.
• Minimum of 3 years in professional sales within the education or related fields.
• Responsible for achieving sales goals and annual targets.
• Demonstrated success in selling and building relationships with high-level clients.
• Proven ability to enhance the Customer Experience at the highest levels.
• Alternatively, 3+ years of experience in education (teacher, administrator, etc.).
• Familiarity with academic curriculum.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
• Willingness to travel outside of the territory for designated regional and national sales meetings.
• Comfortable working in the field (assigned territory) 90% of the time.
