This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Accountable for the development, analysis, reporting, and management of the organization's sales compensation and commission initiatives.
• Assists in the formulation and evolution of sales compensation and commission structures that align with the organization's sales roles, including updates to related collateral.
• Responsible for the maintenance and updating of sales compensation and/or commission program applications, systems, and databases.
• Adheres to corporate auditing standards to guarantee accuracy and efficiency in processing system hierarchy and/or commission modifications, as well as preparing commission and/or compensation statements and files.
• Oversees the sales compensation and commission payout processes, ensuring correct calculations and timely submission for processing.
• Serves as a point of contact between the organization and customers to address inquiries and resolve issues regarding sales compensation and commissions.
• Conducts intricate data modeling to evaluate the design and effectiveness of existing sales compensation and commission programs, identifying trends, patterns, and areas for enhancement.
• Delivers presentations to stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Analyzes data to prepare and disseminate reports on commissions, bonuses, sales compensation, and Form 5500 Schedule A information, including financial accruals.
• Ensures that documentation and procedures are consistently updated and maintained.
• Responsible for providing onboarding training to new staff and delivering training to explain sales compensation and commission programs.
• Guarantees that all compensation-related activities comply with relevant regulations and standards.
• Participates in various projects related to sales compensation and commissions.
• Executes other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• Experience in sales compensation or commission plan administration is strongly preferred; flexible equivalent backgrounds may include: financial analysis, compensation analysis, payroll with variable pay, sales/revenue operations, business/data analysis with a strong focus on financial or incentive modeling, and accounting or audit experience emphasizing reconciliation and controls.
• Strong analytical skills with the capability to collect, organize, analyze, and manipulate large datasets, ensuring attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of presenting complex data to stakeholders at all organizational tiers.
• Commitment to ethical standards and the ability to maintain confidentiality when managing sensitive compensation information.
• Problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate compensation issues, propose solutions, and make recommendations for enhancements.
• Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Proficient in creating/modifying queries and reports, and presenting findings.
• Advanced skills in Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and VLOOKUP, along with a willingness to learn other analytical tools.
• Familiarity with database applications.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, a related field, or equivalent experience.
