This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• The FCS Sales Engineer's role is to capture market share profitably within their designated territory for the FCS product range across various business segments.
• Conduct in-person visits to both existing and potential customers (where applicable) to showcase STAUBLI FCS Solutions.
• Carry out daily face-to-face visits in accordance with the sales KPIs established by the manager.
• Achieve or exceed the sales targets set for the territory.
• Prepare and present technical presentations that explain spare parts and products to current and prospective clients.
• Comprehend the technical requirements of the customer and deliver appropriate solutions.
• Register new clients in the CRM system.
• Effectively organize a weekly agenda in advance within the CRM.
• Timely report visits in the CRM following Staubli guidelines.
• Collect and complete all necessary documentation to establish a customer in the system.
• Participate in weekly sales follow-up calls.
• Utilize the CRM system for information management, tracking, and reporting.
• Ensure proper follow-up on quotations and opportunities.
• Provide accurate information to the Engineering department for the development of specialized products.
• Maintain respectful and effective communication with other departments (Inside Sales, Logistics, and Finance).
• Prepare and present expense reports in a timely manner each week.
• Actively participate in trade shows, open house events, and the annual National sales meeting in Duncan, SC.
• The territory encompasses Mexico, depending on the assigned region.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent work experience is required (engineering or technical background preferred).
• Technical expertise and experience in Field Sales.
• Ability to manage and follow up on projects.
• Experience in cold calling.
• High-level skill set.
• Proven experience in developing new territories with new accounts and contacts.
• Regional Sales experience in the NorthEast (Monterrey, Saltillo, Torreon).
• A team player willing to provide assistance as needed.
• Self-motivated and capable of working with limited supervision in a fast-paced team environment.
• Must possess critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to address customer concerns.
• Excellent listening skills, curiosity, comprehension, self-motivation, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Preferred geographic location: one of the following: Saltillo Coahuila, Monterrey Nuevo Leon.
• Bilingual proficiency in both Spanish and English is required.
• 70% - 80% travel (3 or 4 days per week) for visits to prospective and existing customers.
• 1 or 2 office days per week allocated for administrative tasks.
