This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Support clients in planning and booking cruises, resorts, vacation packages, hotels, tours, transportation, and various travel services.
• Assess client needs, investigate destinations, compare travel alternatives, and deliver precise pricing and availability details.
• Ensure accurate reservation details are maintained.
• Inform clients about payment deadlines, required travel documents, supplier policies, itinerary specifics, and relevant travel requirements.
• Keep in touch with clients and provide follow-up communication before and after their travel experiences.
• Professionally address inquiries through phone, email, text, social media, and online platforms.
• Organize client records and follow up on any outstanding requests.
• Build long-term relationships with clients, encouraging repeat bookings, referrals, and loyalty.
• Cultivate new client relationships, engage with prospective travelers, follow up on leads, and maintain an active sales pipeline.
• Suggest vacation products and pinpoint additional travel opportunities.
• Utilize social media and digital communication channels to market travel services and draw in potential clients.
• Familiarize yourself with approved travel suppliers, booking systems, reservation platforms, supplier websites, and travel industry resources.
• Complete training related to company practices, suppliers, destinations, and the travel industry.
• Independently manage client communication, reservations, follow-ups, training, marketing, and sales activities.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Reliable, professional, organized, coachable, and comfortable working without direct supervision.
• Openness to learning new technologies and travel reservation systems.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Access to a reliable internet connection.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Capability to work with online platforms.
• Willingness to learn and consistently implement marketing strategies.
• Commitment to participating in company, supplier, destination, and industry training.
• Ability to dedicate about 15 hours per week.
• Prior experience in customer service, sales, hospitality, reservations, marketing, social media, business development, or the travel industry is beneficial but not mandatory.
• This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position; it is not a W-2 employment role.
