This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio, +1 more state.
• Assist internal leadership and customer sales teams by conducting thorough analysis and reporting for Amazon accounts.
• Evaluate customer profitability, shipment activity, and consumption patterns.
• Update existing reports to monitor team progress towards objectives and develop new reports as business requirements change.
• Fulfill ad hoc requests from the Sales Team.
• Equip sales management with real-time analytical insights to support sales strategies, execution, and evaluation.
• Collaborate with internal departments to take advantage of process synergies and automation opportunities.
• Create standardized, efficient, and repeatable processes.
• Deliver sales analysis and data insights to meet eCommerce account targets.
• Tackle and resolve issues related to data integrity, integration, and systems.
• Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements.
• Conduct comprehensive business reviews using retailer-preferred metrics and industry analyses.
• Manage, track, and report on promotional performance and return on investment (ROI).
• Develop, review, and support initiatives aimed at increasing Gross Margin, Turns, and Contribution Margin.
• Offer analytical support for retail sales opportunities, including identifying gaps, observing innovations, analyzing retail pricing, promotions, projections, and returns.
• Maintain shipment and consumption reports to track progress towards quotas and goals.
• Support National Account Managers with demand planning and financial forecasts.
• Lead analytics during the business planning process and associated goal tracking.
• Ensure proficiency in Abbott systems, Nielsen, account-specific data sources, Microsoft programs, Outlook, and the Internet.
• Bachelor’s Degree is mandatory.
• 1-2 years of experience in Finance, IT, Sales, Marketing, Operations, or Customer Service.
• Previous experience in a sales organization is preferred.
• Familiarity with Amazon systems (ARA, Vendor Central, etc.) is an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills and a keen interest in data analysis.
• Proficient in creating and manipulating data independently in MS Excel and MS Access.
• Capable of independently creating presentations in MS PowerPoint.
• Interest in advancing to roles in sales, marketing, and/or category management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to effectively manage complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.
• Initiative to identify opportunities and develop strategies to enhance business performance.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Proficient in business analytics and KPI tracking.
• Must be eligible to work without employer sponsorship; Abbott will not provide any form of sponsorship, including OPT.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
