This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Enhance sales and profitability.
• Cultivate relationships with growers and sales representatives.
• Market and sell PRIDE Seeds’ products.
• Collaborate with the District Sales Manager to promote and sell PRIDE Seeds products.
• Leverage digital tools and resources to boost sales.
• Advocate for the brand image and marketing initiatives through the Dealer sales force.
• Engage with industry influencers and media to keep them updated on PRIDE Seeds and our key technology and product offerings, positioning yourself as a vital contact for agronomy topics during the growing season.
• Oversee a comprehensive strip trial program throughout the year, collaborating with plot cooperators as specified by product development.
• Conduct trial planning, planting, harvesting, data collection, and product observation.
• Utilize AgReliant Genetics data input programs to manage trial locations, planting, data collection, and product performance.
• Support Dealers in executing their sales strategies.
• Fully assist dealers in developing grower-specific strategies and providing solutions.
• Engage in direct teamwork with dealers, such as drive-alongs, to enhance sales efforts.
• Plan and conduct product-specific and agronomy training sessions for growers, plot cooperators, and retail partner staff.
• Share relevant corn silage and grain corn information with training participants.
• Attend and actively participate in all PRIDE Sales Meetings.
• Work alongside the District Sales Manager to provide retail partners with pricing structures, deadlines, incentive program details, and return program specifics.
• Organize and take part in business planning meetings with PRIDE Seeds staff and retail partners.
• Communicate product supply, product performance, and commercial line-up changes to retail partners.
• Attend, assist, and coordinate trade shows, trial tours, and retail meetings to share product performance insights and updates.
• Help install signs at plots and fields to enhance brand visibility.
• Represent PRIDE Seeds and AgReliant Genetics positively while adhering to the Company's Core Values.
• Preferred Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Agriculture, Agronomy, or a related field.
• At least three (3) years of sales agronomy experience with a focus on sales and account management in agriculture.
• Experience in the seed industry.
• Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) certification.
• Outstanding sales skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation abilities.
• Strong financial, time, and territory management skills.
• Proven ability to handle multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
• Exceptional leadership, people management, and relationship/team-building capabilities.
• Demonstrated self-motivation, initiative, assertiveness, and a results-driven mindset.
• Preferred knowledge of the seed industry.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting.
