Sales Account Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +19 more states.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of monthly revenue within the territory: retain current accounts, cultivate new business opportunities, and enhance multi-brand engagement during each visit.

• Manage relationships with Key Accounts — including a multi-store chain partner and other designated accounts — through direct buyer interactions, business assessments, and collaborative promotions.

• Dedicate 4 days each week to fieldwork; conduct over 25 in-person account visits weekly while keeping detailed call notes.

• Develop and implement a comprehensive territory plan outlining targeted accounts, visit schedules, and quotas for each account.

• Collaborate with brand teams during demonstration days, ride-alongs, and regional product launches.

• Provide a weekly forecast and pipeline review; ensure CRM data accuracy without exception.


⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years in B2B field sales, preferably within California's cannabis, beverage, CPG, or other regulated distribution sectors.

• Proven history of revenue growth within a designated territory — encompassing both retention and new business acquisition.

• Ability to navigate a geographically diverse territory; readiness to drive extended routes to North Coast accounts regularly, in addition to covering the densely populated Bay Area.

• Proficient in CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar); possess a data-driven mindset for forecasting.

• Valid California driver's license and a dependable vehicle are required.

• Established connections with licensed retailers in California — including Bay Area independent stores and/or chain buyers from North Bay / North Coast.

• Experience in selling a multi-brand product portfolio.

• Understanding of cannabis-specific operational realities (METRC, various retail license types).
