Safety Director – Mission Critical

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Support and coordinate the development and dissemination of policies, regulations, and procedures.

• Administer safety protection programs related to employee safety, public safety, equipment and property preservation, occupational health, hazardous waste, and substance control.

• Collaborate closely with Sector Field Coordinators, project field supervision, and staff to implement the corporate safety program.

• Act as a technical advisor to Corporate Management and Field Supervision.

• Oversee a team of safety professionals.

• Manage the corporate safety and health program, including its design and continuous enhancement.

• Monitor construction activities and advise management on adherence to relevant regulatory rules, regulations, and laws.

• Oversee the company’s safety training curriculum, encompassing course development and training session delivery.

• Handle all company claims management responsibilities.

• Travel to various job sites as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in safety or risk management.

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction safety.

• Capability to work independently and effectively with others.

• Strong understanding of OSHA regulations pertaining to the construction sector.

• Proficient knowledge of third-party contractor management databases such as ISNet and Avetta.

• Experience in mission-critical or data center construction safety is preferred.

• Eligibility for the position requires verification of employment authorization to work in the U.S.
