Safety Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Oversee, track, and resolve issues with current dashboards, reports, and regular data workflows

• Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data across various reporting platforms

• Recognize inefficiencies in reporting and suggest improvements to processes

• Revise existing reports to align with evolving business requirements, operational metrics, and leadership requests

• Examine trends, patterns, and irregularities in operational data, summarizing insights for leadership

• Create new dashboards, scorecards, and analytical reports to aid strategic initiatives

• Support ad hoc analysis requests and fulfill executive-level reporting requirements

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, Finance, or a related discipline is preferred

• 2 to 4 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, business intelligence, or a similar analytical position

• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the use of formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis functions

• Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or comparable reporting/visualization tools is preferred

• Knowledge of Python, R, automation tools, scripting, or ETL processes is advantageous

• Understanding of data structures, relational databases, and reporting logic

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail

• Proactive mindset with a desire to learn new systems, tools, and business processes
