This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.
• Maintain electronic safety records, training documentation, certifications, qualification files, and compliance databases.
• Ensure that safety documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible for audits, inspections, and management reviews.
• Assist with the preparation of OSHA, regulatory, and company-required documentation.
• Monitor expiration dates for training, certifications, medical surveillance requirements, and qualification renewals.
• Support document control activities for safety plans, procedures, forms, and corporate safety programs.
• Track employee training assignments and their completion status using Learning Management Systems.
• Generate training compliance reports and send notifications regarding upcoming due dates and outstanding requirements.
• Coordinate training enrollments, equivalency reviews, qualification assignments, onboarding, and orientation tracking.
• Compile and maintain performance data.
• Develop reports on training compliance, inspections, audits, incident and injury metrics, and corrective actions.
• Create charts, dashboards, scorecards, and executive summaries.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual safety performance reports.
• Create professional presentations for leadership, safety committee meetings, customer reviews, and corporate gatherings.
• Transform technical safety information into visual presentations and executive-level summaries.
• Assist with safety campaigns, awareness materials, lessons learned, and training communications.
• Act as an administrative liaison between East Coast safety managers and corporate safety leadership.
• Coordinate meetings, track action items, manage follow-up activities, calendars, schedules, and communication lists.
• Consolidate regional information into standardized reports.
• Support company-wide safety programs and initiatives.
• Assist with the preparation of meeting agendas, minutes, audit preparation, corrective-action tracking, departmental databases, SharePoint resources, special projects, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• High School Diploma or an equivalent qualification.
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in supporting safety, environmental, construction, industrial, energy, or other related field operations organizations.
• Proven experience in creating reports, presentations, and data summaries.
• Strong organizational, planning, and time management abilities.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
• Capability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), such as Vector Solutions.
• Familiarity with Power BI, SharePoint, or other reporting tools.
• Understanding of OSHA regulations and corporate safety management systems.
• Experience working with geographically dispersed teams is preferred.
