S4 HANA Migration and Implementation, SAP Finance – Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.

📋 Description

• Assist in the administration and enhancement of SAP FI and Treasury functionalities, including related applications.

• Offer expertise in process design, system development, testing, implementation, and continuous support.

• Create current-state and future-state process documentation in accordance with DEA standards.

• Suggest best practices for finance and treasury operations within the public sector.

• Collaborate with analysts, designers, developers, and business stakeholders throughout testing and deployment phases.

• Aid in SAP Finance and Treasury issue analysis, troubleshooting, tracking, and resolution efforts.

• Support SAP upgrades, OSS notes, support packs, and implementation tasks.

• Develop unit test plans, test scripts, and assist in execution activities.

• Identify impacts and changes associated with the transition from ECC to S/4 HANA in Finance and Treasury modules.

• Engage in project planning, roadmap development, and operational readiness tasks.

• Mentor junior team members and facilitate knowledge transfer initiatives.

• Assist in defining hardware specifications and system landscape requirements.

• Provide after-hours support as necessary for production or upgrade activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in SAP Finance or Treasury/Cash Management.

• More than 3 years of experience with SAP S/4 HANA.

• Over 7 years of experience with the ECC FI module.

• More than 10 years of experience with SAP upgrades, OSS notes, support packs, and troubleshooting.

• Over 10 years of experience in the SAP Public Sector.

• More than 7 years of experience in budgeting, appropriations, grants, and governmental accounting.

• Strong understanding of SAP Finance business processes and operations in the public sector.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
