This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.
• Cultivate new relationships and business opportunities within your designated region.
• Oversee accounts as a business entity to enhance market share and ensure profitability.
• Create strategies to guarantee that Calix products and services are effectively utilized by customers throughout their networks, enhancing business network access, customer premises, subscriber insights, and applications.
• Provide market insights for product development and pricing strategies.
• Build strong working relationships across all levels and functions within the customer's organization.
• Work in conjunction with overlay sales resources to provide subject matter expertise, strategic guidance, and support for customer interactions.
• Capable of developing a strategic territory, business, and account plan and executing it effectively.
• Over 15 years of demonstrated success in relationship management and business development with large global service providers.
• Experienced as a quota-carrying self-starter, capable of fostering team success.
• Familiarity with the technology selection processes within global service providers in your region, from initial engagement to successful contract finalization.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity, seeing it as an opportunity to influence business development direction.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
• Strong strategic and business development mindset, with evidence of a deep understanding of client business, primary objectives, and how to align those with Calix's core capabilities.
• Capability to effectively utilize internal resources to achieve desired outcomes.
• Knowledge of the competitive landscape in networking technology is preferred.
• Understanding of service provider business models and go-to-market strategies.
• Comprehensive knowledge of cloud-enabled business solutions, particularly focused on Communications Service Providers.
• A generalist with a broad understanding of optical access networks, cloud, and premise systems, including wireless gateways.
• Preferred knowledge of WiFi technology, concepts, and terminology.
• Familiarity with microservices delivery or container management is preferred.
• Understanding of Customer Experience Management for broadband service providers.
• Knowledge of Telecom and IT standards such as TR-69, TR369, OMCI, GPON, and XGSPON is preferred.
• Proven track record of exceeding targets in previous roles.
• Experience overseeing the sales cycle from business champion to C-suite level.
• Skilled in managing and closing complex sales cycles, demonstrating ownership of all aspects of territory management.
• Candidates should be competitive, cooperative, collaborative, and adept at working with both internal and external customers.
• Proficient computer skills, including expertise in Salesforce.com, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Willingness to travel as business needs dictate.
• Significant selling experience with Global Service Providers in your region is essential.
• Proven ability to negotiate and finalize large SaaS Total Contract Value (TCV) contracts for managed services.
• Prior Sales Methodology training, CRM experience, and strong customer references are essential.
• A Master’s degree is preferred.
