Ruby on Rails Developer – Mid/Senior

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Implementing new features on our client's platform.

• Tackling intricate programming challenges while enhancing your skills.

• Performing regular code reviews and pull request assessments for peers.

• Sustaining existing code and rectifying bugs.

• Creating unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.

• Assisting with frontend components using React as necessary.

• Facilitating rapid iterations, experiments, and data-driven development efforts.

• Enhancing application performance, reliability, and scalability.

• Collaborating with Product Managers and cross-functional teams to ensure engineering execution aligns with the product vision.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience with Ruby on Rails.

• Proficiency with Active Record and RSpec.

• Experience in developing production applications on AWS or Heroku.

• Familiarity with relational databases such as PostgreSQL.

• Experience in writing tests or following a test-driven development approach and strong testing culture.

• Background in building server-side applications utilizing the MVC pattern or similar architectures.

• Experience with React (building components, integrating APIs).

• Understanding of distributed systems and resilient application design.

• Practical knowledge of REST API interactions.

• Proficiency in Polish and English at a minimum B2 level.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.

• Previous experience as a tech team lead is a significant advantage.

• Proven ability to utilize AI tools to enhance workflows or development efficiency is a bonus.
