This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Lead a newly formed Robotic Process Automation (RPA) team.
• Collaborate with integrated AI Workflow Engineers to design and implement agentic automation solutions.
• Oversee the daily operations of the team, including system maintenance and development activities.
• Assign, track, and evaluate work progress and accuracy.
• Provide oversight for staff management, which includes hiring, promotions, and staffing recommendations.
• Conduct performance evaluations and assessments, manage team performance, evaluate skills, and support professional growth.
• Direct, motivate, and cultivate staff to enhance contribution, growth, and teamwork.
• Ensure compliance with policies, plans, objectives, budgets, and staffing allocations.
• Manage and monitor project details at the team level.
• Act as the technical subject matter expert and offer leadership during transitions.
• Participate in a weekly on-call rotation as needed.
• Adjust schedule for maintenance and upgrades outside of standard business hours.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a Computer Science-related field or equivalent professional experience.
• Five years of experience with information technology concepts, application development, and/or enterprise system maintenance practices, terminology, and standards.
• Five years of experience in systems maintenance and/or programming.
• Three years of expert-level knowledge in at least one programming language or one enterprise system utilized at BCBST.
• Proficiency in RPA, preferably including experience with UiPath.
• A minimum of two years of people management experience; however, strong individual contributors ready to transition into leadership may be considered.
• Familiarity with information technology concepts, methodologies, terminology, and standards.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and/or maintain an enterprise IT system.
• Subject matter expertise in one or more enterprise IT systems.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and email communication.
• Capacity to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving environment.
• Effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
• Willingness to adjust working hours for maintenance and upgrades outside of regular business hours.
• Readiness to participate in an on-call rotation.
• Sponsorship is not available for this position.
