ROV Supervisor

📋 Description

• **Become a part of DOF's expansion as an ROV Supervisor!**

• We are on the lookout for several ROV Supervisors to enhance our ROV team. In this position, you will assume a crucial leadership role aboard our vessels in the Atlantic region, ensuring the secure and effective execution of a diverse array of offshore projects.

• As an ROV Supervisor, you will guide, support, and develop ROV personnel while overseeing the operation and maintenance of designated ROV Systems. Your responsibilities will include cultivating a robust safety culture, encouraging transparent communication, and ensuring that all tasks are performed to the highest standards while adhering to internal procedures and external regulations. Leading by example is critical, as you will set the benchmark for operational excellence, teamwork, and the welfare of everyone involved in ROV operations.

• **Key Tasks and Responsibilities**

• - Oversee the operation of assigned ROV systems and ensure that all tasks outlined in the work scope are executed in accordance with both internal and external requirements.

• - Engage in familiarization and debriefing sessions prior to mobilization and demobilization activities.

• - Perform pre-dive and post-dive inspections, preventative maintenance routines, and guarantee that all activities, defects, and repairs are accurately documented in dive logs and system records.

• We are looking for seasoned ROV Supervisors who possess a strong understanding of the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of ROV and LARS systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• - A minimum of five (5) years of offshore experience in ROV operations or relevant roles **(Training program can offset lack of experience.)**

• - Previous leadership experience is advantageous but not essential. However, a strong interest in developing leadership skills and the ability to assume responsibility for safe and efficient operations is crucial.

• - Qualified in Electrical, Electronics, Hydraulics, or Mechanics.

• - A documented IMCA-based competence log for ROV Pilot Technician II (Experience may compensate for lack of formal competency.)

• - Experience in IMR projects is a plus.
