Rotating Equipment Team Leader

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Algeria.

📋 Description

• Lead a maintenance team across five operational locations.

• Supervise safe maintenance procedures, inspections, and intrusive maintenance of rotating machinery.

• Regularly visit work sites to assess progress, identify deviations, and offer support.

• Execute maintenance and inspection tasks in line with the current business strategy.

• Facilitate safe equipment shutdowns for intrusive maintenance activities.

• Provide direct management for mechanical, instrument, and condition monitoring engineers.

• Address plant availability losses and implement corrective measures.

• Develop and oversee maintenance OPEX budgets in collaboration with financial controllers.

• Promote and foster safety awareness among engineers and technicians.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in managing maintenance teams across various operational sites.

• Familiarity with rotating equipment, specifically those produced by GE, Siemens, and Solar.

• Understanding of safe maintenance, inspections, and intrusive maintenance for rotating machinery.

• Experience in mechanical, instrument, and condition monitoring engineering disciplines.

• Capability to manage plant availability losses and implement remedial actions.

• Proven experience in preparing and overseeing maintenance (OPEX) budgets.

• Strong safety awareness within engineering and technician teams.

• Readiness to start immediately.

• Willingness to work in the Algerian Desert.

• Ability to commit to 12-hour shifts, 7 days a week, on a rotation of 28 days ON / 28 days OFF.
