Romanian to English Remote Interpreter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Moldova.

📋 Description

• Respond to calls in a professional manner, adhering to the Interpreter's code of conduct.

• Always be ready to take notes during calls.

• Possess knowledge of industry-specific vocabulary, particularly in healthcare and medical fields.

• Accurately and completely convey all messages without adding, omitting, or substituting any information.

• Deliver the highest standard of customer service during interpreting sessions.

• Facilitate effective communication between Limited English Proficient individuals and clients by providing accurate and comprehensive interpretations of messages.

• Implement Standards of Practice in all interactions.

• Participate in internal professional training sessions.

• Show enthusiasm for acquiring new professional certifications.

• Communicate and provide updates to your team leader.

• Adhere to dress code guidelines for video remote interpreting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in the source language (English) and a native speaker of the target language "Romanian".

• At least 1 year of experience in over-the-telephone interpretation with a reputable interpretation company.

• Strong understanding of medical terminology.

• Familiarity with legal terminology is advantageous.

• International certifications related to the healthcare industry (such as PICSI, ALTA, HIPAA, etc.) are a plus.

• High school diploma in your native language.

• Demonstrated emotional intelligence and cultural sensitivity.

• Excellent communication, listening, note-taking, and memory retention skills.
