Romanian to English Interpreter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Respond to calls in a professional manner, adhering to the Interpreter's code of conduct.

• Always be ready to take notes during calls.

• Familiarize yourself with the specific vocabulary relevant to the industry (healthcare and medical).

• Deliver the highest standard of customer service while interpreting.

• Facilitate communication between clients and individuals with limited English proficiency.

• Implement Standards of Practice.

• Participate in internal professional training sessions.

• Communicate and report to your team leader.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in English and a native speaker of Romanian.

• A minimum of 1 year of telephone interpretation experience with a recognized interpretation company.

• Strong knowledge of medical terminology.

• Understanding of legal terminology is an advantage.

• Possession of international certifications in the healthcare field is a plus (PICSI, ALTA, HIPAA, etc.).

• High school diploma in your native language.

• Excellent emotional intelligence and cultural tolerance.

• Strong communication, listening, note-taking, and memory retention abilities.
