Robotics Application Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Conduct assessments on site data to forecast autonomous performance and verify release readiness before the buckets commence digging.

• Troubleshoot intricate issues across the entire stack—from hydraulic sensors and computing hardware to high-level functionalities. Utilize a wide range of technical expertise to delve into both onboard and offboard coding to ensure mission continuity.

• Work closely with Partnerships to discover new customer locations that align with our product development roadmap and offer technical insights to our engineering team to shape the future versions of Bedrock systems.

• Convert "robot-speak" into tangible value. You will facilitate discussions on site progress, clarify how the system integrates into our clients' operations, and ensure optimal performance on job sites.

⛳️ Requirements

• A B.S. or M.S. in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.

• Over 5 years of professional experience in a technical capacity focused on ensuring the smooth operation of critical onboard and off-board systems.

• Practical experience with deployed robotics is a significant advantage.
