This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.
• Offer procedural assistance to new robotic system locations to ensure safety and effective progress.
• Work in partnership with the US Clinical Applications Engineering team to guide new users through their initial learning phase.
• Deliver expert clinical product and technical training to physicians and clinical personnel on the proficient use of Intuitive’s equipment during clinical procedures.
• Recognize critical areas of concern for clinical users regarding procedure adoption and team up with training and development partners to assess and address these issues.
• Foster collaboration and uphold consistent, transparent communication across assigned responsibilities with the US Clinical Applications Engineering team and the development teams.
• Collaborate with colleagues and development engineering partners to create and disseminate best practices and product feedback.
• Remain updated on company product instructions for use (IFU), best practices, technical troubleshooting, as well as pertinent scientific clinical literature and new product information.
• Manage and respond to requests effectively in a high-pressure environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering or a related healthcare field.
• At least 3 years of technical or clinical experience in the healthcare sector.
• Experience in navigating hospitals and supporting clinical procedures is essential.
• A self-starter who excels with autonomy and can adapt in a dynamic work setting.
• A problem solver capable of maintaining composure and critical thinking in high-pressure situations.
• Highly collaborative and effective in a remote team environment.
• Proficient in English; knowledge of French, German, or Italian is a plus.
• Strong communication skills, including oral, written, and interpersonal abilities.
• Excellent situational awareness.
• Experience working with intricate technical systems and/or in a critical patient care environment with physicians and support staff.
• Capable of processing extensive data and translating information into actionable insights.
• Eager to learn and develop new skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 60%, be located near a major airline/rail hub, and work nights and weekends as required.
• Ability to independently prioritize and manage travel logistics while completing related administrative tasks promptly.
• Readiness to travel on short notice and support cases across various locations; comfortable with booking and using all forms of travel.
