RN-to-BSN Academic Advisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the main advisor for a group of nursing students, guiding them from the onboarding stage through to graduation.

• Foster strong connections with students to enhance engagement, retention, and successful program completion.

• Proactively recognize students at risk and intervene early to enhance their outcomes.

• Conduct individual coaching sessions to assist with study techniques, time management, and readiness for clinical practice.

• Aid students in comprehending program expectations, schedules, and clinical requirements.

• Collaborate closely with instructors, clinical coordinators, and operations teams to provide a smooth student experience.

• Assist students in navigating Stepful’s Learning Management System (LMS), virtual classroom tools, and other essential technology platforms.

⛳️ Requirements

• Professional experience as a Registered Nurse with an active RN license.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN).

• Background in teaching, academic advising, student support, or clinical education.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with the capability to build trust and motivate students effectively.

• Strong communication abilities and meticulous attention to detail to ensure efficient resolution of student issues.

• Availability to work approximately 20 hours per week, with the flexibility to provide evening and/or weekend support to students who are concurrently working in the medical field.
