RN Health Coach – East Coast

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver onsite, face-to-face coaching and support to customers.

• Assess customer health education needs through focused health assessment activities.

• Refer customers to relevant Cigna clinical programs or specific client programs as appropriate.

• Create health improvement plans, establish personalized evidence-based goals, and assist customers in reaching those objectives.

• Empower customers to take an active role in their health outcomes.

• Help customers navigate and overcome obstacles to improved health.

• Lead and facilitate health and wellness promotional initiatives, including group coaching, wellness challenges, and health seminars.

• Conduct biometric screenings such as finger sticks, blood pressure checks, and body composition assessments.

• Utilize biometric data and motivational interviewing techniques to enhance clinical outcomes.

• Support health-related site events, including open enrollment, wellness committee facilitation, flu shot clinics, and health fairs.

• Collaborate with matrix partners to align with the client’s comprehensive health and wellness strategy.

• Develop action plans that deliver clinical value for both customers and clients.

• Comprehend and take ownership of clinical targets and outcome metrics.

⛳️ Requirements

• An active and unrestricted RN license in the respective state, with the ability to maintain active licensure.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in the health and wellness sector.

• At least 1 year of experience in health coaching or health education.

• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, CPR, and AED.

• Strong clinical competencies.

• Engaging presentation skills.

• Capability to work independently.

• A customer-focused approach.

• Proficiency in collaborating professionally with clients and matrix partners.

• Ability to manage clinical targets and performance metrics effectively.

• Demonstrated administrative skills.

• Strong computer literacy and software application skills.

• Employment is contingent upon passing a background check, drug screening, and nicotine screening.

• A cable broadband or fiber optic internet connection with a minimum of 10Mbps download and 5Mbps upload speed is required when working from home.

• Experience in chronic disease management, motivational interviewing training/experience, and expertise in smoking cessation or diabetes management are considered additional qualifications.
