Risk Research Specialist I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Perform in-depth investigative research on applicant information by cross-referencing various internal and external data sources to confirm business legitimacy and financial stability.

• Evaluate inconsistencies in applicant documentation and independently resolve intricate verification challenges by utilizing effective critical thinking and judgment.

• Uphold exceptional standards of accuracy and thoroughness while achieving daily production targets in a dynamic fintech environment.

• Collaborate with underwriting and partner relations teams to provide clear, actionable insights based on your research, supporting Credibly’s mission of delivering accelerated, appropriately-sized capital solutions.

• Recognize and document risk patterns or process inefficiencies to facilitate platform improvements and enhance data quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in data analysis, financial verification, underwriting support, or risk operations.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (e.g., data manipulation, VLOOKUPs, pivot tables).

• Familiarity with CRM or online verification tools.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex risk findings to stakeholders.

• Capability to type at least 60 words per minute with high accuracy.
