This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Overseeing activities related to risk management.
• Managing quality assurance processes.
• Ensuring compliance with ICAM programs and solutions within a federal government setting.
• Developing, implementing, and managing a thorough risk management framework for ICAM programs.
• Establishing and upholding a quality management program for ICAM operations.
• Conducting regular assessments of risks and quality audits of ICAM systems, processes, and configurations.
• Creating and maintaining a Risk Register.
• Collaborating with ICAM engineers, administrators, and program managers to ensure effective implementation of risk mitigation strategies.
• Assisting in the development and upkeep of program policies, procedures, and standards.
• Leading and coordinating internal quality reviews, process audits, and after-action reviews.
• Preparing and presenting reports, dashboards, and briefings on risk and quality.
• Supporting the Authority to Operate (ATO) process.
• Coordinating with security and compliance teams to ensure compliance with relevant federal regulations.
• Monitoring and tracking Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms).
• Acting as a subject matter expert (SME) on ICAM risk and quality issues.
• Facilitating training and awareness initiatives related to ICAM risk management and quality assurance practices.
• Supporting incident response activities concerning ICAM systems.
• Developing and maintaining metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of risk management and quality assurance efforts.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Risk Management, or a related field from an accredited institution; equivalent professional experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree.
• Over 5 years of experience in risk management, quality assurance, or compliance roles within the information technology or cybersecurity sectors.
• More than 3 years of experience with ICAM programs, frameworks, or technologies in a federal government context.
• Outstanding communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the capability to effectively engage with both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior government officials.
• Strong grasp of risk management frameworks and methodologies, including the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF), NIST SP 800-30, and NIST SP 800-53.
• Proven experience in developing and maintaining Risk Registers, POA&Ms, and risk assessment reports within a federal IT environment.
• Familiarity with ICAM frameworks, principles, and federal identity management standards such as FICAM, NIST SP 800-63, and Zero Trust Architecture.
• Experience in supporting or leading ATO processes, including the preparation and evaluation of security documentation like SSPs, RARs, and POA&Ms.
• Knowledge of federal compliance and regulatory requirements, including FISMA, FedRAMP, and OMB policies regarding identity and access management.
• Experience in developing, implementing, and managing quality management programs, along with conducting process audits and reviews.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to evaluate complex risks and devise practical, actionable mitigation strategies.
• Proficiency in creating and delivering clear, concise risk and quality reports and briefings to varied audiences, including senior leadership and government clients.
• Skilled in developing and tracking metrics and KPIs to assess program health and effectiveness.
• Demonstrated capability to manage multiple priorities and work efficiently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
